As part of the International Exchange Week at ISCTE, Elina Wainio, from LAUREA University of Applied Sciences, Finland, provided a public presentation entitled “Learning by Developing (LbD) – Integrating competence acquiring, RDI and regional development”. With the presence ISCTE professors, students, non-academic staff but also some Portuguese InCITIES Associate Partners, this was a great forum opportunity of networking and sharing ideas and knowledge. During the 1h:30m presentation and discussion, the audience was able to have an overview of the LbD model applied in LAUREA’s context, how it works in practice and learn about its advantages and challenges when compared with more traditional pedagogical models.
