On May 11 the University of Žilina launched a Facebook campaign ”We love diversity”. The campaign was organised on the occasion of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development first declared by The United Nations General Assembly in 2002. The University encourages both its employees, students and general public to make their own step towards diversity and share it within the online community. The aim is to inspire each other and celabrate the uniqueness of particular cultures.
At the end of the online event, on May 22, a winner was drawn and awarded a voucher to the bookstore. The prize was donated by the university management. The Campaign was realised thanks to the Horizon Europe project InCities.
