On July 6, 2025, TH Köln joined three other Cologne universities in the ColognePride CSD parade, once again showing strong support for inclusion and diversity on campus. With both a float and a walking group, the universities marched under the motto “Cologne universities for diversity in all colors,” sending a clear message against discrimination and in favor of queer visibility.
Around 140 participants from the four institutions took part, highlighting their collective commitment to fostering respect, openness, and equal opportunities. Among them was TH Köln President Prof. Dr. Sylvia Heuchemer, who expressed her joy at the turnout: “I am delighted that so many people from TH Köln are taking part in CSD and that we are sending a message of diversity and appreciation for all people.”
