We are excited to share the second promotional video from the InCITIES project, which highlights our progress and achievements. This video illustrates the impact that our project is having on shaping inclusive, sustainable and resilient cities.
This second video focuses on the project’s research and innovation hubs, which aim to create an active community of researchers. Seven thematic hubs were chosen for the project: Questioning Urban Transition; Nature in the City; Energy in the City; Urban Mobility; Vulnerability; Inclusion and Health; Digital Transition; and Sustainable and Resilient Cities. To activate the community, several webinars called “scientific cafés” have been organised to give researchers the opportunity to present their work and develop new collaborations. This collective dialogue helps to shape more inclusive solutions and to build a shared culture of sustainability and resilience.
The video also provides insight into the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) pilot course hosted by ISCTE, titled ‘Cities’ Future Interdisciplinary Challenges’. Programmes like the BIP are key to bridging the gap between theory and practice. They enable students to apply academic insights to real-world challenges through collaborative, hands-on learning.
Watch the video to learn more about how we are driving innovation and promoting sustainability through education.
