On Friday, June 27th, InCITIES will host the ninth and final online session of the Scientific Café, bringing together contributions from several partner institutions in a cross-topics format.
This closing session will include five presentations:
- Dr. Yannick Cornet (UNIZA) - Unpacking the travel experience: past and ongoing research
- Prof. Johanna May (TH Köln) - Building an international researchers network
- Dr. Pedro Mariano (Iscte) - Social Simulation for Digital Cities
- Dr. Margot Pellegrino (Université Gustave Eiffel) - Electrical grid: transition and resilience
- • Dr. Mauro Couceiro (Iscte) - Designing for Impact: Multifactorial Energy Performance and Its Wider Repercussions in Sustainable Human Settlements
The Scientific Cafés are part of Task 2.1 of WP2 and have served as a valuable forum throughout the project for researchers from InCITIES and the PIONEER Alliance to exchange knowledge and ideas. Each session focused on one or more of the project’s seven thematic hubs:
- Urban transitions
- Nature in the city
- Energy
- Vulnerability, inclusion and health
- Mobility
- Digital transition
- Sustainable and resilient cities
This final session marks the end of a successful series of informal and dynamic scientific exchanges.
