InCITIES invited by the EU sister project E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators: Learning by Developing pedagogical model presented in the Open Science and Open Education Workshop

On June 7, 2024, the InCITIES project was present in the workshop on Open Science and Open Education organized by the sister project E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators, funded by the European Commission through the Horizon Europe program. With a presentation intitled “Project InCITIES – Trailblazing Inclusive, Sustainable and Resilient Cities: Learning by Developing pedagogical model connected with research HUBs” Pedro Antão, from ISCTE, highlighted the LbD model and its connection with the InCITIES scientific HUBs. The E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators project is committed to promoting innovation and collaboration between European higher education institutions, and stimulating open science and open education practices. This was also an opportunity for tightening the collaborative actions between the InCITIES and the sister  project E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators.

This was a hybrid international workshop, held at the School of Business Sciences (ESCE) of the Polytechnic University of Setúbal (IPS), Portugal, and attended by other widening participation and spreading excellence projects like InCITIES, as well as representatives of international alliances and guests, including leading figures in the field of open science and open education, such as Karel Luyben, president of the European Open Science Cloud Association.

The event brought together a diverse range of experts, enriching the exchange of knowledge and reinforcing the importance of collaboration between academic institutions, thus reaffirming the importance of cooperation and the promotion of open science and education practices.
