The InCITIES coordinator presented the project InCITIES at the PORTUGAL SMART CITIES SUMMIT on the 12th of October 2022, in Lisbon [1]. The Portuguese Industrial Foundation organises the Portugal Smart Cities Summit every year, and the 2022 edition took place from 11 to 13 October at the Lisbon International Fair (FIL). The Portugal Smart Cities Summit is a benchmark event, with a broad representation of companies from different geographies, which promotes synergies between the territory, industry and academia, with the aim of improving citizens’ quality of life. The Portugal Smart Cities Summit intends to increase the inclusiveness of cities, promoting their strengths and good practices. Municipalities can also find the most advanced technological solutions for the sustainable development of their cities. The attendees of this event are local authorities, public and private organisations, companies and start-ups from the mobility, energy, IoT, environment and sustainability, water, waste, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, Big Data, higher and secondary education clusters, as well as representatives from the academic and scientific community.
